Lessons Learned

This week has been the hardest weeks I have ever experienced. Both my faith in God and esteem in myself were shaken. A lot of crazy things have been going on (regarding work) but I know God is good and He can take bad events and turn them into good. I KNOW this and for that I will always praise and thank Him for His mercy and grace...He is a God of power but He is also a good God that knows us personally and works for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

This Wednesday was truely a test of faith. I was attacked emotionally and spiritually but a couple of people. I try so hard to go to God first when I need help...not family, not friends, and not co-workers. After the event, I prayed to God a quick pray that He would give me the strength to keep going. I had still 4 my hours of work and g=being the rock for all my leaders who were about to hear some hard news.
.
That night, I could not even sleep I was so ashamed and upset. But then I remembered something. Something so simple but also so hard to do. I remembered to lay all my burdens and worries to Him--as Pastor Rick says (worrying is what atheists do), and I definitely do NOT want to act like that.

After I prayed and laid it all at His feet, I felt overwhelming peace and I know it could only be His.

I know that this is a little vague and I don't want to get into any details but I do want to give you some advice.

GO TO GOD FIRST--only He can give you the reassurance and peace that you are looking for.

Love you all!
Tammy

Tammy, I am proud of you, proud that you are going to God first. We are being challenged as Easter approaches, but keep looking up! I love having you at our home on Friday, it was SO great to catch up and see that your light still shines so brightly! You are a wonderful and amazing woman after God's heart, don't let Satan keep you awake during the trials. Surrender all, my friend, surrender all! Love you TONS!

AMEN! I can testify to that over and over again. Update your pass and we'll hang out for the day! I'll keep you in my prayers.

I have two big signs in my house.
One says, 'It's never too late to live happily ever after'
the other says,
'this too shall pass'

THIS too, shall pass. It will be tough and heartbreaking, but you will see that most things will keep going without skipping a beat.
You are a beautiful person. Have I told you that? I have always thought so.
